1. How many participants we have to recuit to conduct the CDSMP workshop?
You have to recruit more than 12 participants.
2. We have only 5 participants in the session 1. Can we still have the CDSMP workshop?
You have to ask participants to bring their friends. If you have less than 6 participants at session 2, you have to cancel the class. If you find a problem with cancelling the workshop, please contact your county coordinator and statewide evaluator (michiyo).
3. I am trained in three programs (ASMP, CDSMP, & DSMP). How many workshops do I need to do?
You have to do one workshop (either ASMP, CDSMP, or DSMP) each year. But you have to do all programs (ASMP, CDSMP, & DSMP) every 2 years.
4. It is my second time teaching, do I have to complete self-evaluation form for all 6 sessions?
No, you need to complete the self-evaluation form after the last session (session 6). We ask leaders to complete the self-evaluation form after each session when the workshop is their 1st one.
5. Can potential leaders miss a day from the Leader Training?
The Leader who will be absent for 2 hours on day three can be filled in on what was covered by one of the Master Trainers, if the Trainers believe that the person's participation thus far has been good. A Leader who has missed a whole day cannot be certified or lead workshops. They must take the training again. If your CEO wants to continue to attend, that's fine, as long as they understand that they cannot be a certified Leader. My guess is that the CEO is attending to learn about how the program is facilitated, so it shouldn't be a problem. In fact, having them come back for other days is a really good idea. An invested CEO would be a critical advocate for the sustainability of the program. (From Stanford on Fri, 13 Jan 2017)
